Memorial Day- Michael

For the first year ever, we will be closed on Memorial Day. This was a decision that was not taken lightly, but it really comes down to YOUR safety. Since the vast majority of you have been doing at home workouts for the past two months, we do not think it’s responsible for you to be completing the workout Murph at this time. It’s our priority to keep you safe and healthy and we are programming in a way that eases you back into training.

In addition, we typically have 40+ people performing the workout at the same time and with our class limits and social distancing measures, this is obviously not a good idea in today’s current environment.

Through the past couple of months we have been programming At Home Hero Workouts on Saturday’s. These have all been workouts that can be completed without equipment. Today, we’ve got one more for you.

Enjoy, be safe and we will see you for class on Tuesday.

“Michael”

Three rounds for time of:
Run 800m
50 Back Extensions (supermans)
50 Sit-ups

In honor of Navy Lieutenant Michael McGreevy, 30, of Portville, NY, who was killed in Afghanistan June 28.

With heavy hearts we offer our prayers and condolences to his wife, Laura, and 14-month-old daughter, Molly.

The price of freedom, and its worth, is found in Michael’s passing. The debt owed to Michael and his family can never be repaid but only honored by remembering Michael and remaining free.
